Tokyo Game Show 2024: Chilean video game companies stand out for their high level and quality
The delegation consisting of Cangrejo Ideas, 4HA Games, Invadelab, Niebla Games and Abstract Digital, all companies from the region, who together with four other representatives from our country, also attended a networking activity and business meetings.

Five video game companies from the Valparaiso Region participated in the trade mission managed by ProChile to the Tokyo Game Show in Japan, held between September 26th and 29th, with the objective of showcasing part of their offerings, establishing new strategic alliances, identifying export opportunities, and recent trends in the Asian market.
The delegation composed of Cangrejo Ideas, 4HA Games, Invadelab, Niebla Games and Abstract Digital all companies from the region, which along with other four representatives of our country, also attended a networking activity and business meetings.
"The name of Chile, and especially the Valparaíso Region, continues to gain relevance in these international events, standing out for a solid, competitive offer and with a seal of quality and trust. This opens up new global business opportunities," commented the regional director of ProChile, Ivo Sandoval.

Video Game Industry in Chile
After participating in the Tokyo Game Show, the companies visited Taipei where they interacted with publishers and investors, noting that the mission exceeded their expectations.
Maureen Berho from Niebla Games reported that "we had 10 meetings at the Tokyo Game Show with publisher companies and service providers. Mainly the first two days we were in meetings, because that was our main objective. We also participated in the Chilean stand at the exhibition".
He added that, "In Taipei we participated online, where we were able to make a Pitch and also a presentation about the development of the video game industry in Chile. It was interesting, we were able to learn more about the market structure, in both development and consumption topics."
Similarly, Alvaro Tarifeño from 4HAGames pointed out that "the experience was enriching in several ways, it allowed us to validate the interest of Publishers and investors from related companies, with whom we seek to collaborate in terms of publishing and development".
Furthermore, he indicated that, "Above all, the audience of different ages from Japan, who approached the ProChile stand for our games. We received several comments, validating the market opportunity that we can generate from Valparaiso and from Chile, because we can create unique experiences".
