As daylight hours extend, people in Turku are increasingly engaging in various cultural activities, solidifying the city's reputation as Finland's cultural capital.

Piispisperjantai: a key event for international residents, Entnerd

This Friday, the traditional Piispisperantai event at International House of Turku will welcome a new guest, following last week鈥檚 visit from Erkka Railo, a political expert and researcher. This time, Aatu Pyy, outreach coordinator at Turku City Theatre, will share insights on the city鈥檚 upcoming cultural events.

With spring bringing longer days, Turku鈥檚 cultural scene is set to flourish. During the event, Aatu Pyy will introduce the latest Turku City Theatre program, discuss the theatre鈥檚 history, and provide a broader perspective on Turku鈥檚 vibrant cultural landscape. He will also explain how non-Finnish speakers can enjoy theatre performances in Finnish, thanks to existing English translation tools.

Previous editions of Piispisperjantai have also featured Merit Kuusniemi, who discussed common mistakes made when starting a business and how to avoid them.
