In this new edition, there are five companies that presented their challenges: CMPC, Colbún, Empresas Iansa, Molynor, and Pucobre. The model aims to accelerate the adoption of innovation and generate real impact in various industries.

April 2026.- Venture Client SOFOFA Hub launched its eighth cycle, establishing itself as a program that connects large companies with technological solutions to address specific production challenges. Through collaboration with technology providers that can be directly integrated into their operations, the model seeks to accelerate the adoption of innovation and generate real impact in various industries.

In this new edition, five companies have presented their challenges: CMPC, Colbún, Empresas Iansa, Molynor, and Pucobre.

Unlike other initiatives, this program focuses on collaboration among participating companies, accelerating the step from identifying challenges to effectively implementing solutions within the companies.

Its main value lies in enabling rapid advancements, with low risk, along with strengthening internal innovation capabilities. To this is added its impact on productivity and competitiveness, as well as the generation of long-term links with science and technology-based entrepreneurs.

These are the challenges of the eighth cycle of Venture Client

1) CMPC: "Prediction and identification of leaks in pipes in cellulose plant"

Objective: Detect and predict leaks in pipes transporting various fluids within a cellulose plant.

2) Colbun: "Inspection of operating wind turbine blades".

Objective: Find a solution capable of diagnosing the condition of wind turbine blades without stopping the system's energy production.

3) IANSA: "Technologies for the dehydration of vegetable by-products of agro-industrial origin".

Objective: Transform this by-product into a valuable input within the framework of a circular economy and efficiency model.

4) Molynor: "Energy efficiency solutions for the production process".

Objective: To reduce the consumption of energy and thus the production cost per pound of molybdenum trioxide, with a focus on fans, compressors, fuel and cross-cutting energy efficiency solutions.

5) Pucobre: "New materials for the linings in chutes (metal structures that transport material) at the Biocobre plant"

Objective: Seeking an advanced solution in material science that extends the lifespan of current coatings in the crushing and transportation process, increasing the system's operation times, and reducing maintenance shutdowns.
