Novamine is a company dedicated to the iResearch and development of engineering solutions with a high level of innovation, quality and safety; By 2024 it plans to open new businesses in the world, as highlighted by its general manager, Alejandra Giménez, who points out that the company today has a presence in more than 5 countries.
“Recently we were exporting our third hopper change equipment, Kimbo, for a mining company in Brazil, located in Minas Gerais; We are very happy to put up a flag of Chile in Brazil. Since our beginnings, we have worked hand in hand with ProChile, through its instruments such as Exporter Coaching, Mujer Exporta, different workshops and seminars that they have carried out, both on topics such as intellectual property, customs and having knowledge of the export process”explains the general manager of Novamine, Alejandra Giménez.

“I consider myself in some way an example within the region, of having gone through all the seminars, of having been developing hand in hand with ProChile,” says Giménez, who is currently dedicated, with the Novamine team, to the development of the successful product line: Kimbo, equipment that optimizes the hopper change process for mining trucks, eliminating the use of cranes.

STEPS FOR 2024: PERU, BRAZIL AND SOUTH AFRICA
For 2024, among its priorities, the company intends to promote its products in markets in Peru, Brazil and the South African market; The biggest challenge is to position itself with its equipment in the Australian and Canadian markets.
After her participation in the PDAC 2024, held in the city of Toronto, Alejandra Giménez highlights that, “ProChile has taken the desire of the current government to incorporate gender into the agenda, I think that was a differentiating point in this day of the PDAC 2024 where nine businesswomen were able to represent the region at the event, which was also chaired and highlighted by the presence of the Minister of Mining Aurora Williams (...) in October we will visit IMARC (The International Mining and Resources Conference) where we will be with potential clients from Australia, those are our most challenging projects in the export field.”

The aim of Novamine is to have the possibility that through its products and services people can be taken out of the line of fire and offer a safer and more efficient alternative to make the hopper changes of the caex trucks, and as Alejandra explains, “In the case of larger equipment such as electric shovels or mining companies, we also offer lifting equipment, which eliminates the use of cranes and is therefore safer equipment and a more efficient solution to do the processes.”
