Chile triumphed again at the 'Oscars of Tourism', reinforcing its global leadership thanks to the diversity of its landscapes, the quality of its tourist offerings, and the sustained work with communities that promote nature and adventure tourism.

Chile consolidates its leadership in adventure tourism by winning the top world award. This is the seventh time the country has achieved the title of World's Best Adventure Tourism Destination at the World Travel Awards, an acknowledgment that highlights leading destinations that outstandingly offer ideal activities and environments for travelers seeking nature, excitement, and high-level outdoor experiences.

The award was presented to the national director of Sernatur, Crist贸bal Ben铆tez, at the ceremony of the grand finale held at the Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) in Bahrain, one of the most important convention and exhibition centers in the Middle East.

For the Undersecretary of Tourism, Ver贸nica Pardo, receiving this award - in which Chile stands out for the seventh time as a leader in adventure tourism - fills us with pride and confirms the unique magic of our country. Adventure tourism constitutes one of the strategic pillars of Chile's tourist positioning. Its relevance is reflected in the National Strategy for Sustainable Tourism 2035, which recognizes it as a key tool to generate deep and positive impacts on host communities and local productive development, always under principles of sustainability.

The 'Oscars of Tourism' once again place our country as a global benchmark for living immersive nature experiences and interacting with local communities, thanks to the geographical diversity of the territory and the solid tourist offer available from north to south. In this way, Chile consolidates itself as an international reference for those seeking unique experiences amid nature, from the world's driest desert to the southern glaciers.

"This award confirms that Chile is an adventure and that we continue to be a destination recognized worldwide for the diversity of our landscapes and the quality of the experiences one can have in the country. This also consolidates the work that Chile has been doing for years: having been the host of the ATTA World Adventure Tourism Summit and holding the South American title 11 times since 2015 shows the maturity of our industry in terms of innovation, sustainability, and professionalization. Today we show the world that our country is prepared to continue growing in adventure tourism," highlighted the national director of Sernatur, Crist贸bal Ben铆tez, after receiving the award in Bahrain.

The achievement of this recognition strengthens Chile's image in the global tourism markets and helps attract more visitors interested in nature, sports, and outdoor life. The distinction will be a strategic tool to strengthen the international promotion of national destinations and position the country in a segment where it has demonstrated sustained leadership for a decade.
