Netflix releases the final trailer for Stranger Things 5: "I need you to fight one last time"
The first seven episodes of Stranger Things 5 are already available on Netflix, followed by the final episode, which will premiere on New Year's Eve, December 31st.
Despite the reviews not being entirely positive, especially for volume 2 of the fifth season of Stranger Things, Netflix released the official trailer for the series' final chapter this Tuesday 30th, which hopes to surpass the expectations of thousands of fans around the world.
As our heroes gear up for their final battle against Vecna, Hopper (David Harbour) rallies Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) with a rousing speech that reminds her exactly what she’s capable of. "Life has been so unfair to you," he says. "Your childhood was taken from you, you’ve been attacked, manipulated by terrible people, but you never let it break you."
Eleven’s surrogate father tells her that she’s fighting for "a world beyond Hawkins" and "the days on the other side of this." Elsewhere in the trailer, we see snippets of what’s on deck, from a shocked Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) looking up at the flashing red sky to Vecna’s clawed hand emerging from the body of Henry Creel (Jamie Campbell Bower). "Let’s end this, kid," Hopper concludes.

Co-creator Matt Duffer told Tudum that the Hawkins gang is carrying out a "complex plan" to save their town. They will have to descend into the Abyss to find the children kidnapped by Vecna, merging both worlds. Oh, and also plant a bomb to destroy the Abyss, the Mind Flayer, and all of Vecna's monsters.
"In episode 7, we were able to get everything set before we fully launched into the end," explains Duffer. "When you get to episode 8, we don't need to waste time explaining anything. We can go straight into the action."
Facing the final episode, a feeling of fear or uncertainty... it permeates everything, says co-creator Ross Duffer. Thereu2019s a look and a moment between [Eleven] and Kali [Linnea Berthelsen] that gives the impression that Eleven has accepted Kaliu2019s plan to stay in the Upside Down when it explodes. So, even if they manage to succeed, there's a big question mark about what's going to happen to Eleven.
