This year, DIGI360 will feature four prominent speakers: Timo Aro, Strategy Director, City of Turku; Dr. Martti Lehto, Director of Research, Faculty of IT, University of Jyväskylä; Eija-Leena Koponen, Co-founder and Chief AI Officer, Renessai; and Matti Tikanmäki, CEO, Probot Oy.

Timo Aro, Strategy Director of the City of Turku: In his talk, "Threats of digitalization and the role of enabler", Timo will present the regional development perspective, emphasizing that digitalization not only brings positive phenomena but also introduces new challenges. How can we integrate more digitalization into people’s everyday lives, into businesses, and into cities? His presentation will inspire reflection and generate new ideas in these areas.

Dr. Martti Lehto, Director of Research, Faculty of IT, University of Jyväskylä: With over 30 years of experience in the Air Force in intelligence, surveillance, and command, Dr. Lehto is also a docent in air and cyber warfare at the National Defence University. He currently works as a research director in cybersecurity at the Faculty of IT at the University of Jyväskylä. His research focuses on critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity training, and cyber warfare.

In his May 7 session, Lehto will discuss threats and vulnerabilities in the cyber environment, focusing on cybercrime and intelligence. In the cyber world, vulnerabilities emerge in technology, organizational processes, and human behavior.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ROBOTICS

Eija-Leena Koponen, Co-founder and Chief AI Officer at Renessai: Eija-Leena has built a distinguished career in data science, machine learning, and analytics, holding various roles in Finland and abroad for over 12 years. She also leads the Women in AI Finland chapter. Her talk will reflect on how the rapid development of artificial intelligence can be confusing. "Could we follow other trends in the AI field and learn the joy of missing out?" she will ask during her presentation at Logomo around 1:00 PM.

Matti Tikanmäki, CEO, Probot Oy: Closing the speaker lineup, Matti Tikanmäki will present "Anything is possible - insights into the future of robotics." He will explore how human-machine collaboration is evolving and what opportunities next-generation technologies bring to businesses and sustainable development.
