With a commitment to enchant both a young and adult audience, aged between 25 to 50 years, knowledgeable about beer, but eager to try new proposals, this week Kunstmann made its first export of its traditional products to the Netherlands, in the heart of Europe.

Felipe Meneses Díaz, Export Manager of Cervecería Kunstmann, reported that this first batch of beer comes to deepen the strong diversification that the Chilean company is seeking, which is already present in other 15 markets worldwide, with our main destinations currently being Argentina and Brazil, although we also have customers in the United States, Australia and several Latin American countries.

This first batch corresponds to 330 cubic centimeter bottles of the unfiltered Session IPA, Torobayo, Blueberry, and Honey varieties.

Osvaldo Marinao, commercial director of ProChile in the Netherlands, and Barbara Sepúlveda, regional director of ProChile in Los Ríos, analyzed the commercial opportunities for Chilean beer in that destination at a meeting.

Marinao explained that, although the Dutch are major global beer producers, there is always interest in discovering new products and especially those from a destination like Chile, which can offer exceptional water quality from the Andes Mountains and Patagonia.

"In the Netherlands, Chilean wines have been present for over a decade and they are an interesting proposition for this market. They cater to a range of customers, from bottles on supermarket shelves to niche wines in specialist stores and restaurants. Therefore, we believe that this initial introduction of Chilean beer will also receive a positive reception," stated the Commercial Attaché of ProChile in that country.

For Barbara Sepulveda, this first shipment of Kunstmann to the Netherlands is of great significance in showcasing the Los Ríos Region's capacity to produce high-quality beer throughout Europe. This beer complements very well the offering of other Chilean export products, such as wine, salmon, and fresh fruits, which are loved by consumers worldwide.
