Slush 2024: Meet the 20 innovation startups with global potential selected for "Slush 100"

At Entreprenerd we wanted to explore what they do and why they caught Slushs attention. Get to know a little about each one in the note.

There are only a few days left until the new edition of Slush 2024, the main European event that will be held on next 20 and 21 of November in Helsinki. Thus, the top 20 startups selected for the Slush 100 were announced, which will have to face the jury with a pitch.

This year, the selected startups, originating from various sectors and with a strong focus on technology and innovation, will have the opportunity to present their solutions to an audience of investors, experts, and industry leaders.

The semi-final will take place on November 20th, where the selected candidates will have to present their projects on the Startup Stage. Out of the 20, only three will move on to the final, which will happen on November 21st at the Founder Stage of Slush. The winner of Slush 100 will be announced there.

3. Crono  

Transform time management with an integrated solution that organizes tasks and schedules, helping to maximize personal and professional productivity from London, UK.

4. DevAlly  

It facilitates accessibility and eliminates the manual work of regulatory compliance. It allows creating products that not only comply with audits but are also inclusive and functional for everyone. They're based in Ireland and United States

5. Flowcore

Increase the operational efficiency of companies through process automation and centralization of workflow in an intuitive control panel, directly from Faroe Islands

6. FULLY AI  

German startup that brings personalized artificial intelligence to the heart of businesses, optimizing operations and improving strategic decision-making.

7. Gralio  

An independent platform designed in Poland to facilitate the search and comparison of software, which is based on reliable data. Its information is a combination of in-house research, supplier materials, and publicly available reviews.

8. Inzipio  

Geman company that develops advanced medical software for automated surgical planning of facial reconstructions. Its technology, powered by artificial intelligence, allows surgeons to perform preoperative planning autonomously and efficiently, reducing dependence on external providers and optimizing the surgical process.

9. Lendorse 

Empowers science and technology students with financial support and personalized mentorships, ensuring their academic and professional success, from Munich, Germany.

10. Metabob

Simplify code debugging with an AI-driven assistant that detects complex errors and improves developer efficiency, from Santa Clara, California, USA.

11. MinersAI 

From Belgium and United States, their platform uses AI to extract valuable information from complex geological data and improve exploration results. 

12. Mohana  

Healthtech from Canada that promotes mental well-being by connecting users with therapists and offering educational tools to improve emotional health.

13. OASYS NOW  

A platform built in Netherlands that facilitates patients in managing their health data and finding treatments suitable for their medical profile. By centralizing and analyzing the users' healthcare information, the platform offers innovative and personalized treatment options, contributing to the advancement of medical research and improving access to healthcare.

14. Pal | Digital Palliative Care 

It offers a human and technological solution for palliative care, connecting patients and families with specialists in emotional support and medical advice. Their homebase is in Netherlands.

15. Pyrpose

This swiss startup promotes corporate social responsibility initiatives with a platform that manages sustainable and ethical projects.

16. Senara GmbH  

German biotech that produces authentic milk without the need for cows. Their platform selects the best bovine milk cells, which are cultivated through a continuous and high-performance process, significantly reducing production costs and offering a sustainable alternative to traditional dairy production.

17. Sightwise GmbH  

It provides insights through advanced analysis of images and videos, allowing manufacturing companies to improve the visual quality of their products and detect even the smallest defect. Made in Germany

18. Signatur Biosciences  

This London based startup leads biotechnology with molecular diagnostic tools, PCRchitecture, which expands the capabilities of traditional PCR tests, for early disease detection.

19. SLY

Tech company, from Italy and USA, that develops advanced solutions for the early detection of forest fires and industrial gas leaks. Its platform called Treeage, combines solar-powered gas sensors capable of detecting environmental anomalies with over 98% accuracy through advanced algorithms.

20. Supersight

A finnish company that, through the creation of an AI model - developed by LUMI, the fifth fastest computer in the world - has achieved a high level of precision for flow analysis. Furthermore, they are committed to developing technologies that ensure 100% privacy, facilitate daily life, contribute efficiency and prevent climate change.

What are the awards?

In this 2024, the winner of Slush 100 will receive as a prize an investment of €1,000,000 from the leading early-stage investment funds in Europe: General Catalyst and Cherry Ventures.

These startups range from artificial intelligence to biotechnology, reflecting the most disruptive trends in the global landscape. Meanwhile, at Entreprenerd, we will continue covering the results from Slush.
