This year, the event will celebrate its tenth edition, to be held on May 22, 2025, at the Turku Science Park and the key themes are success, leadership, risk management, and innovation.

SHIFT Business Festival will take place on May 22, 2025, in Turku, marking its 10th edition at the Turku Science Park. This year, the key themes are success, leadership, risk management, and innovation.

Each topic will be explored by renowned speakers such as Minna Arve (Mayor of the City of Turku), Anna Perho, Henrik Dettmann, Linda Liukas, Aape Pohjavirta, Anna Palmén, Kert Kenner, Mikko Leppilampi, Kamilla Sultanova, Kalle Saarikannas (Microsoft Finland), Minna Ruusuvuori, among others.

Your electronic ticket must be exchanged for a SHIFT Pass. You can do this at the following locations and times:

BioCity lobby - Tuesday, May 20 & Wednesday, May 21 (08:00-16:00)

Event entrances - Thursday, May 22, from 09:00 AM - Via LemminkÀisenkatu (direct to Joki Visitor Centre) - Vía Tykistökatu (outdoor event area)

VIP and Executive ticket holders can also check in during breakfast at Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa, from 08:00 to 09:45 AM.

Don’t forget: You’ll need the QR code from your ticket (sent via email). Save it to your phone for smooth entry.

AI Matchmaking: Find your perfect business match

The official app will include sections for speed meetings and one-on-one networking. This year, the goal is to surpass the previous average of 3.5 meetings per attendee.

With the official SHIFT app (available on App Store and Google Play), you can:Schedule 1:1 meetings between 10:15 AM and 5:00 PM Get personalized matches based on your interests. Build your own event agenda Explore virtual partner booths Chat and invite contacts for coffee or the after-party.

How to activate matchmaking:

  1. Download the app
  2. Create your profile using the email you used to buy your ticket
  3. Browse your matches and schedule your first meeting
  4. Head to the Matchmaking Area (3rd floor of Joki, numbered tables)

By train: 3-minute walk from Kupittaa station

By bus: Lines 32, 32A, 42, 6, 600, 60, and 221 Stops: DataCity (LemminkÀisenkatu) and Tykistökatu

By bike or e-scooter: Designated parking available. Please don’t block sidewalks.

By car: Paid parking available near the venue, including:

- ParkCity Garage (Joukahaisenkatu 8)

BioCity Parking Hall Open parking at Tahkonaukio and EduCity

Three stages

  • Raju Stage (Jussinaukio): Keynotes and six "A-list" sessions where world-class speakers deliver high-voltage ideas.
