When the talented teenager Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the entire world paid attention. Brilliant, clever, and bold, the young student from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) stirred up conversation with her participation in BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER and left fans eager for more.
Three years after that appearance, the young technology prodigy is back in Ironheart, the new series from Marvel Television that exclusively lands on Disney+ on June 24th, and she is the protagonist.

Who else but her could construct an Iron Man inspired suit from her college dorm room? In BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER, Riri won audiences over with her extraordinary intelligence and her vast ability as an inventor specialized in mechanical engineering.
Through the film, fans also witnessed the bond that was forged between the young MIT student and Shuri (Letitia Wright), brilliant scientist and princess of Wakanda. Initially, Riri was surprised to discover another young woman creating things to change the world, but later became incredibly receptive, and together they formed an iconic duo supported by their similarities and differences.

Thus, Ironheart accompanies Riri on her return to her native Chicago, giving the series a decidedly urban, streetwise, and raw edge. Far from multi-million dollar laboratories and sophisticated technology companies, the protagonist uses her genius-level intellect in low-profile environments, inspired by her stepfather's mechanical legacy and supported by her brave heart and determination. Her reunion with the city that saw her birth and growth invites fans to discover her life story, her family, and her community. And, above all, to understand the reasons behind her motivations.
A DANGEROUS PATH
Following her appearance in BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER, Ironheart finds Riri more eager than ever to pursue her dreams. Determined to make a name for herself, she uses her intellect to create cutting-edge iron suits, but her ambitions will put her in a conflicting situation with the mysterious Parker Robbins, also known as "The Hood" (Anthony Ramos).
Throughout the six episodes that make up the series, Riri embarks on a dangerous journey through a world where science and magic, logic and fantasy, intertwine in surprising ways, placing the protagonist before crossroads that will shape her path and her future.
