Real Travel was selected as an "App Partner" of the World Summit Awards 2024
The tourism app created in the Los Lagos region allows travelers to search, find and experience tourist destinations through local people and their stories.
For the first time, the “World Summit Awards 2024” (WSA) arrives in Chile: it is the international meeting of startups, based in Los Lagos, in which entrepreneurship and technological innovation are convened.
From 14 to 17 April, this competition will bring together leaders, innovators and experts in the field of technology and digital transformation linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), who will address three main themes: social cohesion, impact entrepreneurship and the climate crisis.
For the development of this activity, Sernatur and the Regional Government prepared the LLanquihue Lake Basin and its community, to receive the representatives, jurors and guests who will participate in the event.
Real Travel: APP chilena de viajes gana el premio World Summit Awards (WSA) Chile
One of the initiatives that will be present at the “World of Impact Startups”is Real Travel. It is a mobile application, created in Puerto Varas, that through geolocation, allows travelers to get to know tourist destinations through local people through their stories.
For Marta Lorenzini, CEO & Founder of Real Travel, being a partner means that the app works under the umbrella of the SDGs, mainly around the 17th, which is “Work in Partnerships” to achieve the other 16 goals. In addition, Lorenzini points out that “good ideas with impact are not always necessarily in big cities”.
The app is present in 9 countries around the world, with more than 200 destinations. It is a multilingual application, which has audio guides and technology for people with color blindness. The best thing is that the app is completely free in the AppStore and PlayStore, and those who participate in the WSA will be able to find all the programming of the event, panoramas, routes and guides. Through Real Travel, people can search, find, and experience the Lake Llanquihue Basin.
