Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a global leader in technology, announced today that its latest line of products and services has been recognized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® with multiple CES® 2026 Innovation Awards. This recognition showcases Samsung's ongoing commitment to redefining the possibilities of consumer technology and providing experiences that combine performance, design, and intelligence.

The CES Innovation Awards program celebrates excellence in design and engineering in a wide range of consumer technology categories. For Samsung, these honors reinforce the company's vision to create a perfectly connected ecosystem that enhances convenience, creativity, and accessibility. The awards also highlight Samsung's efforts in AI integration, immersive displays, smart home solutions, and advanced semiconductor technologies that drive next-generation devices.

In particular, Samsung's Visual Display Business won several innovation awards, including two Best of Innovation winners. This includes acknowledgments for Samsung televisions and commercial displays, as well as audio, memory, and monitor products. In addition, the Digital Appliances Business was also awarded, including the refrigerator with AI Vision Inside and Auto Open Door functions, along with its most recent home-focused innovations that elevate the user experience through increased convenience and functionality.

The ISOCELL HP5 is the smallest 200-megapixel mobile image sensor in the world. The sensor measures only half the size of a coin and contains 200 million of the smallest pixels in the industry, each one being 0.5u339b u2014just 1/100th of the thickness of a human hair. By leveraging Samsung's patented pixel technology, the ISOCELL HP5 achieves excellent light absorption and signal conversion, surpassing challenges that were once considered impossible at this scale. The 0.5u339b pixel size allows the 200MP sensor to fit into a 1/1.56" optical format, a format typically used in 50MP sensors. This lets smartphone manufacturers upgrade their devices to 200MP with ease. The ISOCELL HP5 not only provides exceptional image details, but also enables vivid 8K video capture at 30fps, fully capturing the most important moments for end-users.

Sustainability and Energy: T7 Resurrected

The T7 Resurrected Portable Solid State Drive (PSSD) features a unique casing design made with 100% TÜV Rheinland certified recycled aluminum.
