Circle of Women Entrepreneurs: 5 Steps to Create Your Personal Brand

The project is designed to strengthen female leadership, empower talented womens businesses and build networks, offering face-to-face workshops, online courses and the possibility of collaborating and interacting with other entrepreneurs.

Boosting the growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises is the goal of the alliance between Transbank and the support network for ChileConverge MSMEs, which was born two years ago and has had a positive impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, carrying out various activities to support entrepreneurs in their process of digitalization and inclusion in electronic means of payment.

As part of the joint work, this year they launched a new initiative: the first Circle of Women Entrepreneurs that seeks to strengthen female leadership, empower the businesses of talented women through training and that this allows them to build networks. It offers face-to-face workshops, along with a complete online program that can be accessed from the ChileConverge platform, in order to promote the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the national level from self-management in the training process.

As a starting point for the work of the Circle, the founder of Impulsa Mujer, Carolina Gatica, gave a workshop on how to boost your personal brand digitally. Are you an entrepreneur and want to build your personal brand? Follow these steps:

  1. Think about how you would like others to perceive you and what aspects of your personality, skills, or values you would like to highlight. This is your value promise, what makes you relevant, different, and memorable to your audience.
  2. Define small habits or actions that you could implement in your day-to-day life to build your personal brand. For example, meditating, creating content for social media, etc.
  3. Create your value proposition: what makes you unique, valuable, and relevant in a work or personal environment. You must answer the following questions: what do I do, how, and why?
  4. Bring your personal brand to your social networks. It’s essential to stand out and connect with your audience. It is important to choose your image, the title of your profile, description, links, featured stories and pinned posts. All of this should convey your value proposition.
  5. Define your work pillars, prepare the content and take advantage of the different formats on social networks such as reels, carousels and stories. Start posting!

“We want to offer real opportunities so that they can be trained in different subjects, such as the digital area where we have seen that there are many opportunities and generate networks with other entrepreneurs. Our goal is to generate valuable actions so that more women can transform their businesses and their lives,” emphasizes María Soledad Correa, Director of ChileConverge.

We want more women entrepreneurs to join digitalization and to empower themselves in this area.”
