Mining Approach and Ecosystem Support

Pignus will be present at the Week dedicated to highlighting the geological riches of Chile and their role in "saving lives", valuing the country's contribution to the energy transition, innovation, and experience in geological risk management. The startup will show how its technological solutions are revolutionizing safety protocols in the mining industry.

Similarly, from the startup, they highlight the key player in their growth, the accelerator Aster, an entity based in Antofagasta and propelled by Escondida | BHP since 2021, and Magical, a renowned investment fund and accelerator of startups in Latin America.

"Aster, as a specialist accelerator in solutions for the mining industry, provided us with a tailor-made acceleration program that included mentoring, financing, and strategic connections with key players in the industry, such as BHP. This experience allowed us to validate and adapt our solution to the real needs of mining, strengthening our value proposition and expanding our presence in the market," expressed the CEO of Pignus.

He added that, "Also from Magical, as an investor, they provide us with constant support in decision-making and guide us in understanding the venture capital market, which has been vital for our preparation towards future investment rounds and to ensure sustainable growth."

The first quarter of 2025 was a great success for Pignus, adding new clients in strategic sectors such as mining and construction. The company is now close to launching new features of its Rehaviour tool, with a special focus on the development of training that strengthens soft skills in a collaborative way. In addition, looking towards the end of this year, they hope to consolidate their position outside of Chile, specifically, strengthening their presence in the Peruvian market.
