CES 2025: Samsung unveils its new monitors with AI capabilities for gaming and productivity
The phrase translates to: These are the Smart Monitor M9 monitors, the Odyssey OLED G6, Odyssey OLED G8, and ViewFinity 4K. All will be showcased at Samsungs First Look event taking place at CES 2025, this January 5th.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. unveiled its Smart Monitor 2025, Odyssey Gaming Monitors and ViewFinity lines, which will be showcased at Samsung's 'First Look' event to be held at the CES 2025 on January 5th.
The 2025 models raise the standard for monitors by incorporating artificial intelligence features, industry-leading sizes in the OLED market, and new formats that ignite the passions of users around the world - whether they are working, playing, or creating.

The Smart Monitor M9 (model M90SF) features industry-leading artificial intelligence functions that enhance entertainment and interactivity through smart image search and adaptation functions.
As the first monitor that integrates artificial intelligence into the device, the M9 features AI Picture Optimizer, which analyzes input signals to determine the type of content being viewed - such as games, videos or productivity applications - and automatically adjusts the screen settings to achieve the best visual experience.
The M9 also incorporates 4K AI Upscaling Pro, which uses advanced AI processing and neural networks to enhance lower-resolution content to 4K quality.
Samsung Odyssey Series: 27" 4K OLED and an OLED screen.
The Odyssey gaming monitor series offers industry-leading performance in new sizes with the Odyssey OLED G8 and G6 models of 2025.
The Odyssey OLED G8 (model G81SF) is the world's first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor (3840 x 2160). The screen has 165 PPI (pixels per inch) with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The level of pixel density and the smoothness of the screen provide game creators and players with a new level of detail and image quality while creating and exploring realistic gaming worlds.
On the other hand, the Odyssey OLED G6 (model G60SF) redefines speed as it's the first OLED display with a refresh rate of 500 Hz on its QHD screen (2,560 x 1,440). The ultra-fast speed and ultra-smooth gameplay unlock potential for gamers who demand the best to gain a winning edge from the device's performance.
Both models offer a response time of 0.03 ms (GTG) to obtain smooth images and a sharp gaming experience, even in fast-paced gaming environments. They are also compatible with AMD FreeSyncu2122 Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Syncu2122, allowing them to deliver smooth images with less flicker and tearing.
Samsung also showcases at CES the 27-inch Odyssey 3D Gaming Monitor (model G90XF). Thanks to its lenticular lens attached to the front of the panel and its front stereo camera, the Odyssey 3D provides a customizable 3D experience without the need for separate 3D glasses.
You can also add a new depth to the content by using AI to analyze and convert 2D videos into 3D.
ViewFinity S8: Bigger for productivity and creativity.
The ViewFinity S8 37" (model S80UD) is the largest 4K 16:9 monitor to date. Its screen is approximately 34% larger than the previous model and is designed to maximize productivity, immersion, and efficiency.

With its 99% sRGB color range that faithfully presents colors on the 4K screen (3840 x 2160), the ViewFinity S8 provides the color representation and brightness necessary for professional users to perform their best work.
