Archicad includes new artificial intelligence applications to facilitate creative processes in projects
This is an assistant that facilitates the creative process, optimizes time, and improves the quality of BIM projects. Furthermore, it allows the use of the AI Visualizer to perfect designs in real time.
Recently, the Nemetschek Group introduced the "AI Assistant", their first technology based on artificial intelligence agents, designed to integrate with Archicad. This advancement promises to facilitate creative processes, optimize time invested in projects, and improve their quality and completion.
The AI Assistant will be incorporated into Archicad as a chatbot that offers support through a nimble and accessible interface. Among its functions, it highlights the ability to access product information, inquiries about BIM models, and the use of the AI Visualizer to perfect designs in real-time.
"We are proud to share that Graphisoft was not only the first to implement this experimental technology in Archicad, but also played a key role in its development," highlighted Márton Kiss, Chief Product Officer of Graphisoft. ""This dual role reflects our commitment to offering innovative tools that are shaping the future of the AEC industry.""
It will also be available on BIMx, Graphisoft's application for presentation and coordination on computers, mobile devices, and the internet. With a mobile phone, iPad, or even the Apple Vision Pro, users will be able to easily navigate through a project, whether they are out of the office or on the construction site.
"The AI Assistant is our first technology based on artificial intelligence agents and is built on the AI layer presented in October 2024," explained Julian Geiger, Vice President and Chief Product and AI Transformation Officer at the Nemetschek Group. "The AI Assistant provides a consistent and cohesive user experience across our brands, enabling users to enhance their creativity and productivity with smarter tools, while moving seamlessly between platforms thanks to a familiar interface."
It will be available for testing as part of the Graphisoft Public Preview Technology program later this year. In addition, the Nemetschek Group plans to expand this technology to other brands within the group in 2025, reaffirming its commitment to empowering architects, engineers, contractors, and other AEC/O sector professionals.
