An exception to this are operational grants for sports, for which the application period is from 18 September to 31 October 2025.
Applications are submitted via an electronic form by clicking through to the form site. The application period begins on 1 October and ends on 31 October at 16:00. Advice and technical support are only available during office hours.
Associations and organizations are highly important partners for the City of Turku, as their activities contribute in many ways to the well-being of residents. The city provides associations with facilities and supports their operations annually with various grants totaling nearly 10 million euros.
General Grant Information Session and Service-Specific Grant Sessions
A general information session for associations and communities will be held online on 18 September 2025 from 14:00 to 15:00. The general session will cover topics relevant to all grants, as well as a general overview of the grants specific to each service area. Each service area will also organize its own Teams session to provide more detailed information on their respective grants.
Registration for the general grant information session can be done via Webropol. Registration is open until 15 September 2025.
When registering, participants will also have the opportunity to submit grant-related questions in advance, if needed. These advanced questions will be taken into account when preparing the session materials, as far as possible. Registered participants will receive the session link by email about 1-2 days before the event.
It is also possible to join the session without prior registration, as the session link will be updated on the City of Turku’s grant information pages before the session begins.
Read more about the grant information sessions and their schedules on the City of Turku’s website: https://www.turku.fi/avustusinfot.
Service areas' own assistance information
