Start-Up Chile opens BIG 13 applications, offering startups up to CLP 75 million in funding
Applications are open until November 24 for Build, Ignite and Growth, three programs supporting technology startups at different stages of development.
NOVEMBER 2026.- Start-Up Chile, Corfo’s public startup accelerator, has opened applications for its BIG 13 generation, offering up to CLP 75 million in co-funding and support to develop and scale technology businesses from Chile. Applications opened on November 3 and will close on November 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (GMT-3).
The call targets innovative, scalable and high-impact technology ventures. Founders from Chile and abroad can apply, subject to each program’s eligibility requirements, with projects that use Chile as a platform to develop their businesses.
Funding is equity-free, meaning startups do not have to give up an ownership stake in their companies. Alongside financial support, Start-Up Chile offers mentoring, access to experts, coworking spaces and connections with investors, corporations and other players in the local and international entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Three programs for different stages of development
Build supports early-stage technology ventures, helping them progress from an idea or concept to a prototype, minimum viable product or initial sales. It provides up to CLP 15 million, covering up to 90% of the total project cost, with the possibility of accessing an extension into Ignite.
Ignite focuses on startups consolidating and scaling their businesses, with support for product validation, sales growth and entry into new markets. It offers up to CLP 30 million, covering up to 80% of project costs. For projects led by a person whose legally registered sex is female, co-funding can reach 90%.
Growth targets companies seeking to expand, raise capital and enter international markets. It provides up to CLP 75 million, covering a maximum of 50% of total project costs, rising to 60% for projects led by a person whose legally registered sex is female. Applicants must demonstrate global project sales of between 2,400 and 25,000 UF, Chile’s inflation-indexed unit of account, during the 12 months preceding the month in which applications opened.
