NOMII: agency promotes the specialization of chilean doctors in Germany

This startup, founded by brothers Nicolás and Julio Orbenes, is the only agency in Chile - authorized by the German government - that can connect Latin American doctors with specialization opportunities in Germany.

NOMII, the agency founded by the brothers Nicolás and Julio Orbenes, has become a bridge between Chile and Germany, offering health professionals the opportunity to train in one of the most advanced medical systems in the world.

The idea of NOMII was born from the personal experience of its CEO, Nicolás Orbenes, who, when traveling to Germany for his medical specialization, faced multiple bureaucratic and integration difficulties. "Gaining a specialty in Chile is complicated; there are few places and lots of competition. At the same time, Germany faces a shortage of young doctors. I saw this as an opportunity to connect both realities, and make the process of migration and specialization more accessible and structured", explains the professional.

The impact of NOMII extends beyond facilitating access to medical specializations in Germany. Its business model not only addresses the lack of opportunities in Chile, but also contributes to strengthening the German healthcare system, which faces a growing shortage of doctors. "It is a mutual benefit. Doctors gain access to training and employment in top-level hospitals, and Germany receives highly skilled professionals to reinforce its health system", says Julio Orbenes, co-founder and commercial manager of NOMII.

The company already has a consolidated team working to expand its operations and continue strengthening the integration of Latin American doctors in Germany.
