Finland will bring leading companies in the mining field, specialists to the International Congress, will contribute with cultural events and will provide its knowledge in the educational area, creating links with young professionals in the industry.

Expomin 2025 confirma a Finlandia como invitado especial, Expomin

Expomin 2025, one of the largest mining events in Latin America, has confirmed Finland as the special guest country. Next year, the fair and international mining congress will once again be held at Espacio Riesco in Santiago de Chile which will take place from April 22 to 25, 2025, promising to be a benchmark for the global industry, highlighting technological innovations and sustainable practices that are transforming mining.

The CEO of Expomin, Francisco Sotomayor, celebrated this agreement and highlighted the importance of collaboration with Finland to raise the standard of the mining industry. " "Finland's presence at Expomin 2025 is an extraordinary opportunity for our fair and for the region. We are talking about a country that has been able to integrate technology and sustainability in its mining DNA, and its participation as a special guest is a reflection of the values and the path we want for the future of mining," stated Sotomayor.

Mining in Finland: Balance Between Innovation and Environmental Commitment

"We want our visitors to firsthand understand how Finland has managed to balance innovation with environmental commitment. We are thrilled to host renowned Finnish companies and provide a space where they can share their experience and knowledge with the region and the world. The choice of Finland, Sotomayor highlighted, is not coincidental. The country will bring leading companies in the mining sector, specialists for the International Congress, contribute with cultural events and share its knowledge in the educational area, generating links with young industry professionals. "This agreement allows us to give the importance it deserves to the educational aspect, which will be one of the great pillars of the next Expomin", he pointed out.

EXPOMIN: BRIDGE BETWEEN FINLAND AND LATIN AMERICA

Furthermore, Sotomayor expressed his enthusiasm for the possibility of strengthening collaboration between both countries. "Expomin 2025 will be a bridge linking Finland's innovations with the needs of our region. We are proud to be the stage where partnerships will be formed and knowledge shared that can transform the mining landscape in a sustainable and responsible way", the executive commented.

Finland's participation not only includes private companies, but also research institutions and government entities, demonstrating the synergy between the public and private sector that has characterized the Finnish mining model. This, Sotomayor assures, is one of the most interesting elements of Finland's participation in the fair. "We are not just presenting technology, we are highlighting a comprehensive approach where collaboration leads to sustainable results. This is something we can all learn from".

With Finland as the special guest, Expomin 2025 is shaping up to be an event of international significance, where innovation and sustainability will take center stage.
