The function "Find My Phone" is a free tool included in Huawei devices that provides a comprehensive solution for locating and protecting devices in case of loss or theft. This advanced feature allows tracking the exact location of the device via the platform cloud.huawei.com. Moreover, if the device is nearby, users can make it emit a loud tone, which will say "I am here!" facilitating its location.

In situations of theft of a device, users have the option to remotely lock it or erase all stored information, ensuring that their personal data does not fall into the wrong hands. This works with any device that is turned on and connected to the internet. The "Erase data" function permanently deletes all data from the device, but does not affect any backup copies that the user may have made in the cloud.

To activate the protection function on smartphones and tablets, users only need to have a HUAWEI ID and enable the "Find my phone" function in Settings > Cloud.
Fall Alert Function
On the other hand, Huawei implemented an innovative solution for its headphones HUAWEI FreeClip, incorporating a fall alert function that immediately notifies the user when one of the headphones detaches.
The system emits a sound alert in the remaining earpiece and sends a notification to the connected phone, allowing for quick and efficient location of the dropped device.
If, despite the warning, the user loses or damages one of the headphones and has the Huawei Care protection service, they will be able to purchase it again with a 50% discount.
