Filadd is highlighted within the 100 Latam EdTech 2024
In addition to identifying itself as a 100% digital learning platform, the edtech present in Chile has established itself as a safe, quality and adaptable space.
The platform that prepares young people from Latin America and Chile for their beginnings in higher education, Filadd, received the recognition of being one of the 100 leading and most promising startups in education and digitalization on the continent. The ranking provided by Holon IQ highlights fast-growing and innovative projects.
The Impact Intelligence Assessment Platform chose and evaluated the 100 education technologies founded more than 10 years ago or those that have an exit (listed, acquired, or controlled by another organization). Filadd, the online pre-university program, which annually has more than 1.5 million students, was the only one highlighted in the international education category.
โOur focus is on the students,โ says Claudia Hanania, Channel Expansion Coordinator at the pre-university. โWe set ourselves a daily challenge to value each student and for them to achieve their goals. We also seek to convey reliability to parents, who tend to be reluctant to use online formats,โ Hanania adds.
Cuento Corto Games: la novedosa propuesta de edtech chilena para la educación de los niños a través de videojuegos
During 2023, Filadd in Chile allowed 92% of its 10 thousand students to enter the desired career and university. A similar scenario is repeated in Brazil, one of the most important markets for pre-university students, a country that leads the development of the most innovative edtechs; 60% of these arise in the territory.
For this new year, the challenge for startups like Filadd is to convince the new generations that technology is essential in the learning of children, young people and adults on the continent.
โThe changes in education are linked to the boom in e-learning and the incorporation of AI in this area. Students, in turn, are more demanding in terms of service, so it is vitally important to prioritize and seek to optimize the experience of our students throughout their time in edtech,โ concludes Claudia.
It should be noted that Fliadd is a startup created in Cordoba, Argentina in 2018, and that it entered YCombinator (YC S21). Today, its platform offers online courses in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Brazil to pass or improve the knowledge of those who are about to enter university.
